  • Hi everyone...

Tonight I have a couple of things that I would like to share with you.

First of all, of you would, please remember my father in prayer. We have to leave very early Tuesday morning and head to Saginaw for him to have a very difficult procedure done, in order to find out if he has lung cancer. The doctors are worried about doing this because my dad has severe sleep apnea, and it could cause serious complications. Please, please pray that he will make it through it, and that the doctors won't find anything. My mom is really worried. She made the comment to me the other day "I just want him to grow old with me..."

Despite the fact that my dad's relationship with me is more often than not, strained, I love my dad, very much, and I don't want anything to happen to him.

On a different note, the end of an era may be happening for me tomorrow too. I might be giving up my beloved Oldsmobile. You see, lately it has been giving me a lot of trouble, and I have poured a lot of money into it lately, and it's still giving me trouble. So....after much thought and prayer, I feel it's time.  Several days ago I decided to "put out a fleece". I prayed and said "Lord, if you think it's time for me to find a new car, then please make the warning lights on the dash light up like a Christmas Tree." This was on I think Wednesday. Nothing happened Thursday or Friday. But on Saturday, as I was traveling to Bay City, lo and behold, the dash lit up!!!

This is sooo not me, but I'm going to try for this little gem...

It's quite nice actually, and, it's not that expensive! AND....it has a warranty!!!

So if God is willing, this will be my brand new used car!!!

Who would have thought it, me, owning a station wagon!!!

Thanks for the prayers for my dad, I'll keep you posted.

    Love Always,

    -Richard. :)
